Construction Updates

Construction Field Update

June 24, 2022

The following field activity for bridge replacement construction will continue, weather permitting, in the coming weeks. This work will take place south of the existing bridge on both the Rumson and Sea Bright sides of the Shrewsbury River.

  • Movement and assembly of construction equipment
  • Delivery of construction materials
  • Installation of temporary access trestle piles
  • Installation of temporary trestle spans

Any changes for vehicle, pedestrian, bicycle or marine travel will be posted to the Travel Advisory page of this website.
