Due to inclement weather, the schedule for channel restrictions and bridge openings has been changed. Mariners should be aware of the following USCG approved schedule for travel at the Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge.
5/6/2025 to 5/7/25 at 7 p.m. NO BRIDGE OPENINGS Western half of channel is scheduled open for marine travel Horizontal clearance – 37.5 feet Vertical clearance – 15 feet Mean High Water (MHW) / 18.5 feet at Mean Low Water (MLW)
5/7/25 at 7 p.m. to 5/8/25 at 6 a.m. HALF CHANNEL BRIDGE OPENINGS To accommodate mariners who require a bridge opening to move their boats, the western half of channel is scheduled to be open Horizontal clearance – 37.5 feet No vertical restriction
5/8/25 at 6 a.m. to 5/12/25 at 6 p.m. NO BRIDGE OPENINGS Western half of channel is scheduled to be open Horizontal clearance – 37.5 feet Vertical clearance – 15 feet MHW / 18.5 feet MLW
5/12/25 at 6 p.m. to 5/15/25 NO BRIDGE OPENINGS Full channel is scheduled to be open Horizontal clearance – 75 feet Vertical clearance – 15 feet MHW / 18.5 feet MLW
5/15/25 to 5/22/25 HALF CHANNEL BRIDGE OPENINGS One span, either east or west, will be in the down position on an as-needed basis Horizontal clearance – 37.5 feet No vertical restriction
