U.S. Coast Guard Issues Notice of Proposed Rulemaking
On May 23, 2023, the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to establish a temporary safety zone on the Shrewsbury River from September 25, 2023 through December 31, 2024. Due to bridge replacement construction activity in the Shrewsbury River, the navigational channel width is currently reduced from 75′ to 65′. Signs are posted for mariners.
