Channel and Bridge Opening Information – Updated on 5/14/25

The USCG has approved the following schedule for bridge openings and channel width restrictions:

NO BRIDGE OPENINGS UNTIL 5/16/25

Horizontal clearance of 37.5 feet on the western half of the channel is scheduled to be open for marine travel
Vertical clearance restriction is scheduled to be 15 feet at Mean High Water (MHW) / 18.5 feet at Mean Low Water (MLW)

HALF CHANNEL BRIDGE OPENINGS FROM 5/16/25 to 5/22/25

Horizontal clearance of 37.5 feet is scheduled to be open for marine travel – one span, either east or west, will be in the down position on an as-needed basis
No vertical restriction
