The current schedule for the new bridge spans is as follows:
5 p.m. Friday 5/30 to 7 a.m. Monday 6/2 | Both spans will be open Horizontal clearance of 75 feet No vertical clearance restrictions |
7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, Monday 6/2 – Friday 6/6 NO BRIDGE OPENINGS | Both spans will be closed Horizontal clearance of 37.5 feet Vertical clearance limited to 15 feet MHW/18 feet MLW |
5 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily, Monday 6/2 – Friday 6/6 | Both spans will be open Horizontal clearance of 75 feet No vertical clearance restrictions |
Dates and times are subject to change based on weather conditions and production factors.
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has jurisdiction over the navigational channel. USCG has granted permission for the partial closures of the channel and for the temporary deviation from normal drawbridge operations. Monmouth County must comply with the dates approved by the USCG.
