Shrewsbury River Full and Half Channel Closures – UPDATE March 29, 2024
The full and half channel closure dates needed for construction of the bridge replacement are not determined.
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has jurisdiction over the navigation channel and released a letter stating the full or half channel closures would not be authorized from May 24, 2024 through September 2, 2024, during the peak recreational boating season.
When new channel closure dates are provided by the Contractor, reviewed by the County, and authorized by the USCG, the dates will be posted to this website.
