Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge Online Public Information Center (PIC) Meeting

The Final Design Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge Online Public Information Center (PIC) Meeting will be held on the project website from Tuesday, June 9, 2020 – Friday, July 10, 2020.

  • You may attend the meeting by clicking “Attend Public Meeting” link on the home page.
  • Written comments will be received through the 30-day comment period ending Friday, July, 10, 2020 (click here).
  • If you know of individuals without internet access, a copy of the meeting materials can be mailed and will include a telephone number to hear the recording of the presentation. Community Stakeholders Meeting No. 1 Report is available for viewing

The Community Stakeholders Meeting No. 1 Report is available for viewing and posted under Community Outreach Documents.

Please note the next Community Stakeholders Meeting No. 2 moved from summer/fall due to time needed for plan reviews by Federal and State agencies and subject matter experts.  Rather than schedule during the holiday season, the Project Team is looking to schedule the meeting in the first quarter of 2020.  A meeting invitation letter will be mailed two weeks in advance once the date, time and location have been determined.

Monmouth County Announces the Opening Schedule for the Sea Bright Bridge

Monmouth County Engineering has announced that a temporary deviation of the opening schedule for the Rumson/Sea Bright Drawbridge (S-32) will be as follows:

From June 21st through July 14th, 2019,
Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays,
between the hours of 9am and 7pm, the draw need only open on the HOUR.

This is the same Test Deviation schedule used last summer (2018). Until a permanent rule change takes effect, this modification to the schedule will need to be implemented on a weekly basis.
